On Istanbul’s European Side we apply water-based flat interior paint. Typical system per manufacturer guidance: sound dry surface, local putty/plaster when needed, suitable primer (usually 1 coat) and at least 2 finish coats. Application temperature is generally +5°C to +30°C; intercoat waits follow the product label (often ≥3 hours at ~20°C for water-based paints).
Economy matte “plastic” or washable silicone-grade interior paint is chosen on inspection by budget and use. Water-based systems are low-odor, not odor-free. Exterior and decorative effects are not included.
